Do you want to help shape the future of information management together with an engaged team? We are currently seeking someone to take a key role in our efforts to develop structured, efficient, and quality-assured methods for information management.
In the Environment and Quality department, we have gathered some of the company's experts in sustainability and information management. Right now, the development of company-wide methods for information and quality is a major focus for us internally. Our work is characterized by close collaboration with other key functions such as security, IT, and archiving and registration. This provides a solid foundation for a holistic view and quality in information governance, and now we need you! Meet one of our employees, Alexandra, with whom you will closely collaborate: https://www.esem.se/om-oss/mot-medarbetare/alexandra-fran-ny-pa-jobbet-till-arkivarieaspirant-pa-bara-nagra-manader
Your Responsibilities
As our new Information Strategist, you will serve as both expert support and coordinator, with a particular focus on driving the development of our management system for information management. You will work closely with registrars, archivists, as well as security and quality roles. You will work closely with operations and contribute to creating clear routines and sustainable solutions that support the entire organization.
You will:
- Develop, implement, lead, and follow up on our management system for information management based on ISO 30301. Here, we need to ensure an uninterrupted and accessible flow of information with a focus on managing physical and digital information.
- Be our expert support, where you pedagogically assist the organization in practical information management. You will educate, guide, and create understanding of routines and processes that make information accessible, secure, and usable. For example, regarding the principle of public access, archiving, and registration.
- Be responsible for GDPR matters and act as the data protection officer. You will participate in conducting impact assessments of digital systems in collaboration with the organization and other stakeholders.
- Act as team leader for the archiving and registration function, where you coordinate the group's work in line with the management system. You will work closely together, and you will also serve as backup in case of absence.
“At ESEM, we have an exciting and important societal mission where we can truly make a difference,” says Maryam Zeitooni Dicker, Head of Operational Support.
Education and Previous Experience
With you as our Information Strategist, we gain a communicative and pedagogical team player who enjoys seeing results and works in a structured manner. You see this as an exciting opportunity to help shape methods together with others, leading the way.
You have:
- Post-secondary education in archiving or information science, or another qualification that we assess as equivalent.
- Several years of relevant experience in information governance from public sector or security-sensitive operations. You feel confident in archiving legislation, the principle of public access, data protection, and various digital tools that support the entire lifecycle of information management. You also have knowledge of classified information and its management.
- Preferably experience in implementing and managing information management systems, where you have contributed to the development of governing documents, routines, and worked on larger development projects for which you were responsible.
- In previous roles, you have worked closely with the archiving and registration function or have registrar experience yourself, although this is not a requirement.
Without us, Eskilstuna and Strängnäs would come to a standstill—welcome to contribute!
