Around 2,100 dedicated employees work throughout Sweden. Our Nordic headquarters are located in Malmö. About Us
Within the Strategy & Sustainability department, we drive E.ON Nordic's long-term strategy and ensure that we are at the forefront of market development, sustainability, and new business opportunities. An important part of our strategic work is building an even more high-performing organization – one that can quickly adapt to changing market conditions, collaborate effectively, and continuously improve to achieve our ambitious goals.
To drive this change, we have created E.ON Business System – our business system based on lean principles that helps us create sustainable business results by improving processes, driving change, and developing working methods with continuous improvement as part of the culture. Now we are seeking a leader for the Operational Excellence team who wants to continue taking the implementation of E.ON Business System to the next level within the organization, and we hope that could be you!
Your Role
As Head of Operational Excellence, you will lead an engaged and knowledgeable team driving the implementation of E.ON Business System within E.ON Nordics. Together, you will be responsible for driving transformation within our business areas' daily operations as well as change projects – a key element in our ambition to become an even more sustainable, efficient, and future-proof organization.
The primary goal of E.ON Business System is to create a new way of working that leads to sustainable results over time and a culture characterized by continuous improvement, with measurable results. By creating structure, enabling continuous improvement, and putting people at the center, you will drive the work forward in close collaboration with both management and operations. You have a broad and business-oriented role where you coach and train the organization – with the goal of creating conditions for change work to live on and be driven forward by the operations themselves.
In your role, you will, among other things:
• Lead and develop a team of approximately 10 specialists in roles such as Business Transformation Managers.
• Develop and implement a long-term Operational Excellence strategy aligned with our business goals.
• Build engagement and participation throughout the organization – from management team to employees to create lasting change.
• Develop and implement a performance management system that creates transparency and is based on data and insights.
• Identify improvement opportunities that lead to increased efficiency, customer satisfaction, and cost savings.
• Be an ambassador and strengthen a culture of continuous improvements throughout the organization.
Position location is Malmö, Norrköping, Stockholm, or Örebro.
Your Experience
To succeed in the role, we see that you have several years of experience in Operational Excellence, with documented experience successfully driving business improvements and transformation within organizations. You are a confident and experienced leader with the ability to create engagement and develop both individuals and teams. You have a deep understanding of lean principles and how they are applied in practice, and having a Black Belt in the area is considered meritorious.
We see that you are a person who is passionate about change management and thrives in a role where you can inspire others and create a clear direction in a changing everyday environment. With your strong communication skills, you easily build trust and collaboration at different levels within the organization. You are driven to create results and value – both through data-driven analysis and well-founded decisions, and through your ability to engage, inspire, and bring people along on the change journey. With a solution-oriented approach, you drive change initiatives within the operations and create clear impact. You are motivated by seeing both people and the business develop, and you are skilled at building strong teams that together reach common goals and drive long-term improvement.
What is it like with us?
With us, you will work in a future-oriented industry where your contribution makes a difference for more sustainable energy supply. You will lead a team of ten consultants who are passionate about and have experience with continuous improvement and change management. The team has an open and innovative approach to how we develop the business to achieve our vision. You will report to Carin Kuylenstierna, Director of Strategy & Sustainability.
