About the company: Sjukälla AB is a family-run farm operated by brothers Adrian and Albin. A total of eight employees work here, managing crop cultivation on 1,200 hectares and livestock with approximately 3,000 cattle. The farm operates in both Jönåker and Betna, where the crop cultivation consists of half forage and half grains. The machinery fleet is modern and well-equipped, including a 2022 chipper (JD8500), two JD8R tractors, a 2022 combine harvester (JD8090), and a 25 cubic meter manure spreader.
About the position: As a craftsman at Sjukälla AB, you will have a varied and practical role where you will work on repairs, construction, and maintenance around the farm. You will be an important resource in daily operations, contributing to ensuring that machines and buildings function properly. This role is ideal for those who enjoy building, solving problems, and taking responsibility for getting things done.
Responsibilities include:
• Repairing machines, combines, and tractors
• General construction and maintenance work on the farm
• General land and groundwork on the farm
• Troubleshooting and basic electrical repairs
Requirements:
• Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written
• B driver's license
• Access to a personal vehicle
• At least 2 years of experience in workshop work or the construction industry
Meritorious:
• Experience with agricultural machinery or mechanical maintenance
• Knowledge of welding or basic electrical installations
We are looking for someone who:
• Is self-motivated and responsible
• Is technically inclined and enjoys problem-solving
• Can take instructions and collaborate in a team
Additional information:
• Employment type: Full-time with a 6-month probationary period
• Working hours: 07:00–16:00, longer during the season as needed, and 1 weekend per month
