Administrator in Water for the Water Unit

**Water Unit**
You will be a part of the Water Unit within the Nature Department.
The unit consists of eighteen dedicated employees. The unit addresses water issues from a broad perspective, covering everything from water management, water supply, liming, biodiversity, measures against eutrophication, environmental monitoring, and environmental goals to national systems for water information. We share knowledge about the region's water and contribute expertise within the County Administrative Board and the community.
**Job Responsibilities**
You will work with water management, primarily focusing on issues related to the region's groundwater. An important task will be to assess the environmental conditions and the feasibility of meeting the environmental quality standards for water. Another responsibility is to propose measures and work towards their implementation. You will also be involved in local water conservation projects (LOVA) and support efforts related to water supply.
In this role, dialogue and collaboration are essential parts of the work. This occurs both internally within the County Administrative Board and externally with municipalities, water councils, other County Administrative Boards, national authorities, industry practitioners, and consultants.
You will work in a team, the preparation secretariat, that focuses on water management and water resource planning.
**Qualifications**
We are looking for someone with a scientific/technical higher education in subjects such as limnology, hydrogeology, environmental science, geology, biology, ecosystem engineering, or equivalent knowledge gained through experience.
Experience or in-depth knowledge of water management, groundwater issues, or grant administration is an advantage. Knowledge of GIS and experience in managing large and complex datasets in Excel are also beneficial.
The position requires at least a B driver's license and proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

**Conditions**
The position is full-time and is permanent. We apply a six-month probationary period as a standard for our permanent positions. The start date is as soon as possible upon agreement.

Interviews will be conducted starting from week 49.
