Region North has approximately 1,100 employees and consists of Norrbotten, Västerbotten, Jämtland, Västernorrland, Gävleborg, and Dalarna counties, covering all correctional activities from Falun in the south to Gällivare in the north. The regional office's task is to lead, plan, and operationally support and coordinate the work of implementing sentenced penalties, conducting remand center activities, and performing personal investigations in criminal cases. The regional office shall implement and ensure the execution of national assignments in the operational plan and follow up on achieving established goals and results. To support the regional manager's leadership and governance of operational areas, there are several operational experts in prison, remand, probation, capacity increase, preparedness, and healthcare. Section managers and administrative functions are also part of the regional office organization. The regional office is located in Härnösand. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The North Staffing Planning Group belongs to the regional office where you will be part of a team of case managers working on short and long-term personnel planning for core operations in Region North. In your role as a staffing planner, you will: - Maintain continuous contact with core operations and meet daily operational needs - Work with short and long-term vacancies - Vacation and training planning - Forecast and plan staffing in a quality-assured and efficient manner - Plan personnel according to laws, routines, and collective agreements - Proactively work to achieve set goals QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking someone who collaborates well with others and listens, communicates, and solves problems smoothly and constructively. We are seeking candidates who have: • High school diploma • Experience in staffing planning/personnel scheduling • Experience with personnel and staffing systems • Ability to express yourself well verbally and in writing in Swedish • Good computer skills • Good knowledge of laws and agreements (labor law, working time regulations, policies) It is meritorious if you have: • Additional education in labor law or personnel science • Experience working in the public sector • Experience with state collective agreements • Experience working with Heroma OTHER To be considered for employment with the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, you must meet high standards of suitability, judgment, security and confidentiality awareness, and comply with applicable laws.
