About the assignment
We are currently seeking a case officer for our client who works with transition support. You will be responsible for managing applications for transition support for employees who have been laid off due to redundancy or who are otherwise entitled to transition support. Your work will involve investigating and assessing eligibility based on the regulations of the transition agreement. Your tasks will also include responding to inquiries from companies, union representatives, and employees regarding their cases.
To thrive in this role, you enjoy working in a structured and methodical manner with the help of administrative systems, and you have the ability to provide service and act consultatively via phone and email. You will be part of a knowledgeable and positive team of three people who value collaboration and maintain a warm and open atmosphere.
Examples of key responsibilities
• Receive applications, assess and calculate eligibility for transition support based on employer certificates, payslips, or equivalent, and if necessary, contact union representatives, companies, or employees.
• Contact other stakeholders regarding case inquiries, such as the company that administers the register of registered transition agreements.
• Respond to or forward inquiries internally from companies, unions, and laid-off employees that come in via email and phone.
• Manage layoffs that occur during bankruptcies through administrative contact with bankruptcy administrators and internal colleagues.
Requirements for the position
• Academic education, for example in law, social sciences, economics, or behavioral sciences
• Previous experience in unemployment insurance case management
• Very good system skills and knowledge of MS Office
• Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
As a person, you communicate and collaborate easily with others. You enjoy providing good service, are detail-oriented, and have the ability to work with specifics. You are driven, take initiative, and can manage multiple parallel administrative tasks.
Assignment period and scope
The assignment is full-time during office hours, starting as soon as possible after agreement, and lasts for 6 months. The work location is at the client's office in central Stockholm, with the possibility of some remote work.
