Unit Mission
In the Reassessment Unit, we are about 50 employees divided into three sections, with both case officers and qualified case officers working in each section. We are located in Östersund.
In addition to our primary mission, our responsibilities also include supporting the agency's work with legal assessments to ensure that government operations are as legally sound and efficient as possible. Our tasks also involve reviewing, analyzing, providing feedback, and reporting insights and lessons learned from the agency's decisions, as well as forwarding appeals to the court.
Job Description
An employer or job seeker who is dissatisfied with the Employment Agency's decision may have the right to request a reassessment of that decision.
As a case officer in the Reassessment Unit, your main task will be to confirm, prepare, and communicate reassessment cases. As a case officer, you will also work on evaluating information and submitted documents according to applicable regulations.
Your work will involve contact with both employers, job seekers, colleagues within the agency, and external parties. You will gather information and/or materials for decisions via phone or email, answer questions, or inform job seekers/employers about their cases.

We are looking for someone who has a strong ability to work in a structured and methodical manner and can interpret and apply existing regulations and decisions. In your role, you need to be able to engage with people professionally, handle difficult conversations, and deliver negative news. You are expected to take responsibility for working in a goal- and results-oriented manner, balancing efficiency and quality.
Our Offer
The position is a permanent full-time employment that may begin with a six-month probationary period. The work location is Östersund.
The salary range is between 34,000-38,000 SEK, and we apply individual salary setting.

Basic Requirements for the Position
- Completed upper secondary education
- At least two years of work experience at a minimum of 50%
- Very good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good reading comprehension
- Experience in compiling materials, analyzing and assessing information, and making decisions based on applicable regulations
- Experience with administrative tasks in the public sector and understanding of good governance
- Good computer skills, able to navigate multiple applications simultaneously
Additional Qualifications for the Position
- Experience in preparing, communicating, and making decisions in cases supported by labor market policy regulations
- Experience working with reassessment cases
- Good knowledge of general administrative law
