**Job Description**
Within the Education Office's department of Central School Support, there are the following units: Resource Unit, Adapted School, Mother Tongue and Newly Arrived Unit, and Administration and Investigation Unit.
The Administration and Investigation Unit is led by the head of the Central School Support department and consists of ten individuals who investigate, ensure, and manage the principal's systematic quality work together with department heads and principals. The unit works with system management, local coordination, and administrative tasks. Central School Support is now looking for an administrator with an interest in working with digital tools and systems. In your role, you will serve as a support function for preschools and schools.
As an administrator, you will handle various questions and tasks within the Education Office's principal assignment to provide the necessary operational support. Your responsibilities will include ensuring and managing different digital tools and systems for the municipality's preschools and schools. The role also involves contributing to ensuring that the municipality has appropriate and effective tools for investigation, analysis, planning, and follow-up. You will also produce statistics and support department heads and principals in preparing materials for surveys and follow-ups. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with others in the Education Office and maintain ongoing dialogue with the department head regarding subject matters and systematic quality work. Upplands-Bro is a small municipality where employees handle various issues across multiple areas related to preschools and schools.
**We are looking for someone who:**
- Holds a relevant higher education degree in pedagogy or another qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
- Has knowledge of the operational area of preschools and schools.
- Has previously worked in qualified administrative roles.
- Is knowledgeable about current legislation and regulations concerning municipal operations.
- Possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and can express themselves well in speech and writing in Swedish.
- Has strong IT skills, good knowledge of the Office suite, and the ability to quickly learn new systems and programs. Familiarity with various learning tools is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Prorenata, LegiLexi, Magma, and other learning tools is a merit.
- Experience in municipal operations or other politically governed organizations is a merit.
As an administrator, you take significant responsibility for your tasks, are a flexible person with excellent collaboration skills, and can manage multiple issues simultaneously. You have a good ability to create structure, plan, ensure, and follow up on your work. You possess analytical and strategic skills that allow you to overview, prioritize, and quickly familiarize yourself with new areas. You see the big picture and appreciate collaborating across organizational boundaries; you listen, communicate, are detail-oriented, can adapt to changing circumstances, and solve challenges in a constructive and professional manner. You are service-oriented, good at building connections, and collaborating.
