Technical Service Administrator at Göta Engineer Regiment About the Unit Göta Engineer Regiment, Ing 2, is Sweden's only engineer regiment. The regiment trains and recruits officers and soldiers for engineer units with specialized skills to perform qualified field work for national and international tasks. Technical Service is the part of logistics in the Armed Forces that deals with preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment. Technical Service also includes spare parts supply and various system support, such as training in preventive maintenance, equipment handling, salvage, and more. Logistics Department Responsibilities Include: • Management of logistics at Ing 2 within: - Technical Service - Defense Medicine - Transport Services - Supply Provision • Distribution and management of vehicles and equipment at Ing 2 • Development and maintenance of logistics competence and readiness for continuous and part-time service personnel • Logistics for national and international mission implementation Primary Work Duties The Technical Service Administrator role is crucial in the regimental staff. Much of your work will occur in closely related and often shared projects and work areas with other department colleagues. You will be involved in planning, preparation, and reporting of maintenance production to the Armed Forces workshops and inspection units, as well as civilian subcontractors. The role involves ongoing contact with workshops, customers, and users of vehicles and equipment. Additionally, you will support other tasks within the logistics department. Role Primarily Involves: • Orders, registers, protocols, and calendars related to logistics, primarily Technical Service, in systems PRIO, LIFT, RSF, LOGFAS, and MS Office • Planning, follow-up, and registration of equipment maintenance and spare parts supply • Local Technical Service development focusing on daily rationalization at the regiment • Preparation and execution of vehicle and equipment transport Qualifications • High school diploma • Administrative work experience • Good computer skills, especially MS Office • Class B driver's license Meriting Factors • Logistics work experience • Post-secondary education in logistics • Experience with Armed Forces or Defense Materiel Administration • Completed military service or basic military training • Experience with IT support systems PRIO/SAP, LIFT, RSF, LOGFAS • Class C driver's license • Military driving permit Personal Characteristics We place great importance on personal suitability, where responsibility, initiative, flexibility, and a service-oriented approach are key qualities.
