**About the Job**
At the Tax Information Service, you are the face of the Swedish Tax Agency. You will answer tax-related questions from individuals over the phone during the tax declaration period and guide them in using our e-services. You build trust by being attentive and providing a warm reception. You will take personal responsibility for staying updated on news and changes within your area of work. Utilizing various digital information channels, you will also seek answers during customer interactions. Some inquiries are straightforward, while others are more complex.
In this role, you will have contact with customers throughout the day and encounter a diverse range of people. You will work closely with your colleagues, providing and receiving support from one another. The work is qualified, and you will gain extensive knowledge in the field of taxation. At the Tax Information Service, you will have scheduled working hours. We believe it is essential for you to maintain a balance between work and leisure.
The employment is temporary until August 21, 2026.
You will be part of a section in Karlstad that belongs to the Corporate Tax Unit 9, Corporate Tax Department.
**About You**

In this job, you should:
- Provide a positive reception towards both our customers and your colleagues

- Be able to analyze information flows, identify connections, and make decisions.
You should also have:
- Ongoing (at least 120 approved credits) or completed higher education of at least 180 credits (120 points) in economics or law, or another relevant higher education for the position.
It is desirable that you have current and relevant work experience in customer service. Relevant work experience in case management within a government agency is also preferred.
**Good to Know**
The employment is temporary until August 21, 2026, with some possibility of extension.
A position with us may involve placement in a security class. A security screening with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted prior to a hiring decision. For some of our tasks in a security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
Due to the nature of the tasks, there is no possibility to work from home in this role.
