About the Unit
The Swedish Armed Forces Telecommunications and Information Systems Unit (FMTIS) is now seeking a Signal Protection Specialist for the Communication Center Army Staff (SbC AST) at the Communications Department. The Communications Department consists of four Communication Centers (SbC), an International Communication Center, a Signal Protection Section, and a Communications Section supporting Headquarters (HKV) and the defense branch staffs in Enköping, Uppsala, and Muskö. The SbC AST's task is to serve the Army Staff's operations related to communication security and signal protection. After the year-end, the section will change organizational affiliation to the Army Staff.
Primary Responsibilities
As a Signal Protection Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the various tasks and standby tasks of the section for the Army Staff. This includes planning and implementing different signal protection projects, as well as supporting serviced units with signal protection services ranging from signal protection training, material services, preventive maintenance, and user support for signal protection equipment.

MERIT-ENHANCING
• Trained signal protection instructor and/or signal protection manager
• Experience working with classified information
• Experience in information management
• Experience with Swedish Armed Forces cryptosystems
• Previous service at a Communication Center
• Trained system operator on relevant signal protection systems
• Previous service with the Swedish Armed Forces or other defense-related activities
• Completed military service, basic training, or voluntary organization
