At the Medical Products Agency, we make a difference together. In life and for life. We work for the health of humans and animals, for a better Sweden today and in the future. We are seeking an administrator for a time-limited assignment to the Product Information unit who is passionate about varied work with significant personal responsibility. Are you that person?
Our Organization
The Licensing Operations area works to ensure appropriate medicines through licensing, advisory services, and information. The operational area is divided into eight units, one of which is the Product Information Unit, where we are now seeking an administrator. The unit has approximately 45 employees divided into three groups. The unit primarily works with product information, that is, product summaries, package leaflets, and labeling within pharmaceutical companies' applications throughout the medicines' entire lifecycle. We collaborate with multiple units within the Medical Products Agency and have daily contact with the public, companies, healthcare, and pharmaceutical authorities in Europe.
Your Responsibilities
The focus is primarily on reviewing pharmaceutical companies' text proposals for product information (product summaries, package leaflets, labeling text), but the packaging layout may also be relevant. In cases of deficiencies or inaccuracies, you will comment on the companies' product information proposals and motivate them to make adjustments according to applicable regulations.
You will also contribute to the unit's tasks, such as writing instructions and participating in working groups. The work is done in collaboration with doctors, pharmacists, and other professional groups within the agency.
Your Background
You have a pharmaceutical university education or equivalent education in the pharmaceutical field. You have work experience from a government agency, pharmacy, or pharmaceutical industry. Experience working with product information is meritorious.
You have the ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing, both in Swedish and English. This is required as you will linguistically edit Swedish texts intended for healthcare personnel and patients. Additionally, you will write comments and edit texts in English. We also value good computer skills.
Your Personal Qualities
You are accustomed to and enjoy handling multiple cases simultaneously. You have an excellent ability to work independently, which means initiating, making decisions, and completing your cases on time. You are familiar with following guidelines and routines, working efficiently and methodically, with sufficient quality and high productivity. You also have experience and ability to oversee large amounts of information and make relevant priorities.
We value good collaboration skills, the ability to be constructive when changes are needed in work, and creating and maintaining good relationships and team spirit. We place great importance on personal suitability.
