About this role

Sävsjö Municipality is a small community with great opportunities for growth. In this small municipality, there is a close connection between people – between you and your colleagues, as well as between employees and managers. Together, we work to provide our residents with the best possible service, and in our teams, you will have the chance to take initiative, develop, and contribute. **JOB DESCRIPTION** Sometimes there is movement within a team, and that has happened with us. We need to find a new employee who wants to help create the services we would like to receive ourselves. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of the effort to create a fantastic community in Sävsjö. We believe you are passionate about working in the public sector and see this work as the foundation for a good society. You enjoy helping people find their way so they can feel proud of what they do, and you approach meetings with the belief that they genuinely want to do the right thing. You are committed to upholding the democratic system and look forward to both supporting local politics in their pursuit of greater benefits for every citizen and being challenged by them. We are a small team in the administration with a strong focus on collaborating across all conceivable boundaries, and we place great value on nurturing our relationships to feel secure both in our roles and as individuals. Curiosity is important to all of us as part of our efforts to find new ways of thinking and doing to achieve the purpose of our work as quickly, easily, and cost-effectively as possible. All to ensure that citizens and businesses in the municipality experience that we create value and are part of a positive development. If you believe this could be the job for you, we look forward to receiving your application and hopefully having a good conversation in the future. As an Environmental Inspector, you will work broadly with planning and conducting inspections, making decisions, handling applications, notifications, and following up on deviations, actions, and decisions. Providing information and advice is also part of the role to create the conditions for achieving the objectives of the legislation. Other tasks within the scope of the Environmental Code may also occur. The work entails freedom under responsibility, and decision-making primarily occurs by delegation. **QUALIFICATIONS** You may have a higher education in a relevant field, but it could also be that you are simply the right person for the job and that your expertise may need some enhancement. **OTHER** In preparation for the recruitment process, we have made decisions regarding recruitment channels and marketing. We kindly ask to refrain from contacting media sales representatives, recruitment websites, and similar entities. We welcome your application!
