We are currently seeking 1-3 new colleagues. **About the Job** We are in an expansive phase where we identify relevant partners, consider strategic choices, and collaborations that will address the goals of Sweden's strategy for development cooperation in migration, return, and voluntary repatriation for 2024-2028. The focus of the role is to manage initiatives within the framework of the thematic global strategy for migration and return. You will be part of a team that works closely together and collaborates closely with colleagues at Sweden's foreign missions as well as with other authorities active in the field of migration. Our mission is focused on eight countries (Ethiopia and Somalia, Turkey, Lebanon, Syria and Iraq, as well as Afghanistan and Uzbekistan) and prioritized so-called migration routes. The unit is part of the Global Department, which encompasses global strategy and initiative management and operates based on Sida's various thematic areas. You will work at our office in Rissne, Sundbyberg. **Responsibilities** - Manage initiatives in accordance with Sida's regulations for aid initiatives (planning, preparation, dialogue and follow-up, financial and other reviews, as well as administration and closure). - Contribute to the development of the joint portfolio, as well as contribute to analysis and reporting of results within the global migration strategy. - Assist in coordinating development cooperation within Sida and with foreign missions, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Justice. - Lead and coordinate groups within your area of responsibility, including in external networks, and represent Sida in a donor circle as needed. - Contribute to other tasks as required within the unit. **We Offer** We provide a workplace with excellent opportunities for development and an environment characterized by openness and diversity. To meet the challenges the world faces today and in the future, we need individuals with diverse backgrounds and skills. **Qualifications** **Education** - Academic degree or equivalent academic training in development issues, migration, or other related fields. **Languages** - Very good proficiency in Swedish and English. **Work Experience and Knowledge** - Strong experience in international migration work. - Operational experience in managing and administering projects, including assessing collaborations with external partners in an international context. **Functional Competencies/Abilities:** To succeed in this role, it is important that you are comfortable managing and coordinating many points of contact at various levels. We believe you are process-oriented and possess strong administrative skills. For this role, it is advantageous if you have: - Operational experience in international development cooperation in the field. - Experience with the countries or routes prioritized in the strategy. **Good to Know** The positions are permanent with immediate start.
