Your New Job
As an administrator within Functional Support, you will be part of the municipal work area.
In this position, you will work with the comprehensive decision-making process for persons with disabilities according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS). Your tasks will involve investigating, assessing, and making decisions based on current legislation and following up on these decisions. The work involves contact with citizens, relatives, service providers, other authorities, and healthcare providers. Your communication will include providing accurate and clear information about services and support. This also includes documentation in the Combine management system.
Your Competence
- You have a degree in social work or an equivalent relevant education with requirements in social law and professional experience in public administration
- You have good knowledge of current legislation and preferably basic knowledge about disabilities
- Experience in processing cases under SoL and LSS in social services or other public administration is meritorious
- Experience with Individual Needs in Focus (IBIC) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), as well as management systems Combine and Cosmic, is desirable
- Good Swedish language skills, both oral and written, and good computer proficiency
- A valid driver's license (B) is meritorious

Welcome to Us
You will become part of a work group of 35 competent administrators who together are responsible for legally secure and professional assessments for the municipality's residents. We work based on clear process maps and routines for various work processes and interventions that may be relevant. With us, you will receive strong collegial support, case supervision both individually and in groups, and external supervision if needed. The workplace is centrally located in Jönköping at Sofiahuset, Kapellgatan 21.
The unit is organized around three target groups:
- Physical disabilities
- Intellectual disabilities
- Psychological/neuropsychiatric disabilities
Good to Know
The recruitment is for a temporary position targeting the intellectual disabilities group, with the distribution potentially adjusted over time based on operational needs. The position is expected to last approximately one year, with possible extension. Working hours are daytime, Monday-Friday.
