Recruiting Unit
The Logistics Section is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing logistics support for army units – both nationally and internationally. This includes supply provision, technical services, transportation, and other logistical support during operations, production, and maintenance of combat units. The section supports all Army Staff processes with logistical expertise, thereby helping to ensure the army's operational capability.
Work within the logistics section provides you with a broad and in-depth insight into army operations, which is valuable experience for further development and future positions within the Armed Forces.
Primary Work Tasks
As a Logistics Coordinator with responsibility for Flammable Substances and Chemical Management in the Army, you will have a central and coordinating role. You will work closely with army units, senior management, and external actors to ensure structured and safe work in this area.
The role includes:
- Coordinating, monitoring, and reporting systematic work with flammable substances and chemical management within the Army
- Responsible for and driving chemical substitution work within the Army
- Representing the Army in matters related to flammable substances and chemical management to senior management and external authorities
- Planning and leading network meetings for managers and chemical coordinators at Army organizational units
- Supporting and training the Army organization and managers on flammable substances and chemical management issues
Qualifications
- Previous experience with chemical management or LBE (Flammable and Explosive Substances Act)
- Good MS Office and general IT skills
- High school diploma
- Class B driver's license
- Good ability to express oneself verbally and in writing, in both Swedish and English
Meriting/Desirable
- Experience with Intersolia or similar systems
- Occupational health and safety engineer (or relevant academic education)
- Experience serving in the Armed Forces
