About the job
In the field of international personal taxation, you will work with the processing and investigation of cases that vary in scope and complexity. The area primarily covers income from employment and capital income. As an officer, you are responsible for clarifying how the client's tax situation should be handled, both materially and practically, in accordance with both internal law and tax treaties, as well as regarding pension-qualifying income. In your work, you will analyze and assess various types of documentation, often foreign documents. With the support of laws and regulations, you will evaluate the documentation and make decisions. During certain periods, tax inquiries may be part of your responsibilities, which means you will answer questions about taxes from individuals over the phone and provide guidance on how they can best use our e-services.
We work in a team-based manner, which means you will work closely with your colleagues, supporting each other to accomplish the team's mission. You will plan your own workday and manage your cases both independently and in collaboration with others.
The work is qualified, and you will learn and gain new knowledge both broadly and in depth. The role involves a lot of client contact, and an important part of the assignment is to provide clients with good conditions to comply with tax regulations in the future. You will have flexible working hours, and it is essential for us that you maintain a balance between work and leisure.
You will be part of the Personal Taxation Unit 2 in the Personal Taxation Department, located in Ă–rebro.
About you

You should also have:
- A completed university degree of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits) in economics or law
- Relevant work experience in processing tasks within public administration, agencies, insurance companies, or banks.
It is desirable that you have current and relevant work experience in international tax law.

The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period.
A position with us may involve placement in a security class. A security assessment with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted prior to a hiring decision. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
