About the Position
As an administrator for international research and development at FMV, you will become part of the Research and Development Unit at the Management and Economics Staff. The unit is responsible for FMV's work with object-independent research and development, support for the Swedish Armed Forces' capability development, and the development of the agency's innovation capacity.
In the role of administrator, you will drive analyses and investigations, as well as work to increase the utilization of research and development within material supply. You will handle research and development matters related to FMV's activities with Swedish and international actors, participate in method development within research, technology development, and defense innovation. In the role, you will also assist the main coordinator for research and technology development in managing issues related to this at the agency.
The position also involves supporting other departments with research-related issues and serving as a contact person in FMV's collaborations with the Swedish Defense Research Agency (FOI).
The position is located in Stockholm.
About You
We are seeking a candidate with a civil engineering degree or equivalent, with research experience. You have several years of experience in coordinating research projects. We also value experience from research collaborations with international organizations or international technical development work. To succeed in the role, it is necessary to have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
It is meritorious if you have relevant experience working in a government agency. We also look favorably upon experience from the defense industry or related government agencies.
