About this role
**Position Offered**
Skaraborg Regiment is seeking a team member to maintain and develop the garrison's infrastructure. The garrison encompasses a large geographical area and a significant number of buildings. The Armed Forces are facing substantial growth and new tasks, which lead to increased demands for accessibility to infrastructure.
The infrastructure is a prerequisite for the core operations to function, and the core operation is to train and maintain readiness for combat units.
**About the Unit**
The position is located within the support department of the regimental staff at Skaraborg Regiment. Within Skövde Garrison, the regiment is also tasked with coordinating infrastructure work among the various operational locations.
The garrison stretches from Älvdalen in the north to Vårgårda in the southwest, extending to Borensberg in the east, and the infrastructure assets include office environments, barracks, training and firing ranges, sports facilities, workshops and garages, storage, medical facilities, and more.
**Main Responsibilities**
Under the infrastructure manager, participate in and handle matters within the following areas:
- New infrastructure needs
- Maintenance-related actions on the property portfolio
- Procurement regarding property management ("additional services")
- Adaptation measures in the property portfolio ("non-value-adding measures")
To solve these tasks, collaboration with other stakeholders within the infrastructure area related to the garrison is required.
You will independently lead meetings and planning groups, as well as conduct presentations in large forums.
Working in a staff position may also involve addressing tasks outside of regular duties.
**Qualifications:**
- Construction project manager with a degree from a vocational college or equivalent competence acquired through work experience deemed relevant by the employer.
- B driver's license

As a person, you are driven and have a strong ability to create connections with others. You need to be able to work both independently and collaboratively in a group. Your previous work is characterized by accuracy and a sense of responsibility.
**Meritorious:**
- Experience from public administration
- Experience with the Armed Forces' infrastructure process
- Military training/experience such as basic training, Home Guard, or international service
- Good knowledge of the Office suite and ability to express oneself verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of environmental, occupational health, and electrical safety legislation

The employment is a permanent position with a start date to be agreed upon and begins with a probationary period.

**Information about the Armed Forces and the Recruiting Unit:**
Skaraborg Regiment, P 4 operates from Älvdalen in the north to Remmene in the south. The leadership is based in Skövde, where the majority of conscription training takes place. The regiment's task is to recruit and train conscripts and personnel for two armored battalions, a heavy transport company, and a brigade reconnaissance company. P 4 is also responsible for a brigade staff that, in times of crisis and war, will lead large parts of the army's units.
