**Administrator for Supply Management** **Västernorrland Regiment** The Swedish Armed Forces is expanding and is now seeking an administrator for the Supply Department (FörsA) at the Sollefteå command section. We offer you a varied position with the opportunity to create a balance between work and leisure in exchange for your commitment and willingness to develop. **About the Unit** The Västernorrland Regiment, together with the Jämtland Field Ranger Corps, I 21, was reestablished in 2022. The unit operates in three locations - Sollefteå, Östersund, and Härnösand - which are responsible for training and maintaining two independent infantry battalions as well as the Military Base Sollefteå. **About the Department & Section** FörsA Sollefteå is part of the I21 Logistics Unit, which consists of approximately 30 employees. The department's task is to provide the supplies and transport that the units need to carry out their operations, in accordance with applicable directives and regulations. This includes the management of goods, weapons, ammunition, personal equipment, catering, fuel, and waste, as well as the accounting of all material in the Armed Forces' support systems. The command section's role is to lead and distribute work at FörsA Sollefteå and support staff in substantive matters. The section has a coordinating function and is expected to offer expertise regarding operations and the Armed Forces' support systems. **Main Responsibilities** The position is administrative and involves handling cases, participating in planning, management, and follow-up within the department, such as: - Processing incoming directives and regulations - Conducting data maintenance in the Armed Forces' support systems - Responsible for monitoring the department's budget - Daily support for staff regarding logistics issues - Managing orders from civilian suppliers - Supporting sections with material needs assessment **Personal Attributes** We are looking for someone who is meticulous, curious, and possesses strong social skills. You should be driven to find solutions and not shy away from digging for information. You need to be comfortable working in various data systems as the work is partially administratively intensive. You should be able to work independently as well as in a team and be loyal, flexible, and organized as a person. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. **Requirements** - Relevant post-secondary education for the position, or other education plus experience deemed equivalent by the employer - Class B driver's license, manual transmission - Previous work experience in logistics **Meritorious** - Experience with the Armed Forces' accounting systems SAP/PRIO & LIFT - Knowledge of the Armed Forces' material - Documented experience as a purchaser within the Armed Forces - Completed military service - Good skills in Microsoft Office - Good physical ability **Other Information** Employment Type: Permanent position, the role is civilian Employment Rate: Full-time Work Location: Sollefteå Start Date: By agreement Additional Information: The Armed Forces applies a 6-month probationary period for those not already employed by the authority. The first years include a number of training sessions that take place weekly at other locations.
