About the job Our unit is responsible for the taxation of all the country’s non-profit and economic associations, foundations, and religious communities. You will work with the processing and investigation of cases that vary in scope and complexity. This means you will analyze and assess different types of documentation. You will request additional information via phone, letters, and digital mailboxes in your interactions with individuals, companies, and associations. With the support of laws and regulations, you will assess the documentation and make decisions. Some cases are straightforward and quick, while others take more time. You will work either with income taxation, VAT, business registration, or multiple areas simultaneously. You will be part of the Corporate Taxation Unit 7, and your workplace will be in Mariestad or Uppsala. We work in teams, so in addition to Mariestad and Uppsala, you will have colleagues in Västervik. You will plan your own workday and manage your cases both independently and in collaboration with others. As part of our teams, you will have the opportunity to develop and work with fantastic colleagues. The work is varied, and you will learn and gain new knowledge both broadly and in depth. The role also involves many contacts, for example, with clients and other authorities. You will have flexible working hours, and it is essential for us that you maintain a balance between work and leisure. About you To perform well and thrive at the Swedish Tax Agency, you need to be attentive, think innovatively, and take responsibility. Good judgment and an understanding of legal security and safety are important in this role. You should also adhere to our employee policy. In this job, you should: - Independently plan and drive your work forward to achieve results - Be helpful and treat others with kindness and respect - Communicate clearly and concisely in both speech and writing - Be good at collaborating and supporting others to achieve common goals - Be flexible and able to quickly shift between different tasks - Analyze information flows, identify connections, and make decisions. You should also have: - A higher education degree of at least 180 higher education credits (120 points) in economics or law. It is desirable that you have relevant and current work experience in case management tasks. It is also preferable that you have relevant and current work experience in economics or law. Good to know The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period. An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security screening with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a hiring decision is made.
