We are looking for someone who wants to be part of the work done by our foreign missions and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs to handle consular matters around the clock. In your role, you will have direct contact with Swedes abroad seeking advice and support from the Ministry, and as the first point of contact, you will manage all cases that reach our foreign missions outside of office hours, including those concerning individuals in distress, detainees, deaths, child abductions, passports, etc. You will work closely with the Ministry's communications unit and will also handle certain press inquiries during the night. You will be responsible for the Ministry's alarm and preparedness function, and in a crisis situation involving Swedes abroad, you will be part of the Ministry's crisis organization. Your qualities You possess a strong sense of service and a proven ability to communicate with people in vulnerable situations, even under time pressure. You can manage multiple issues simultaneously and easily switch between different technical systems. You have good judgment, high integrity, and well-developed empathetic and social skills.
