About us: The Habilitation Resource Center is a regional unit that belongs to Habilitation & Health within Region Stockholm. The Habilitation Resource Center provides interventions, courses, advice, and support to individuals with disabilities, their relatives and networks, as well as to professionals, based on various areas where the unit has specific expertise. Read more about us and how we work on our website Habilitation Resource Center. The Inquiry Service is a part of the Habilitation Resource Center and is located at Sabbatsberg Hospital. About the position: As a social worker in the Inquiry Service, you will work with telephone counseling for patients, relatives, and professionals. Habilitation & Health's Inquiry Service is aimed at individuals living in Stockholm County who have a disability or are relatives. In the Inquiry Service, social workers respond to questions about societal support for disabilities. This may include: · habilitation · interventions from the municipality · grants and compensations · support in schools. You will work alongside other social workers within this service and staff the Inquiry Service according to a schedule. The Inquiry Service is part of the Habilitation Resource Center, and the entire unit works with various offerings aimed at all of habilitation's target groups and ages. Based on your skills and experience, you may also participate in other work within the unit. This could include being a course leader for web-based and physical courses or other work based on your expertise in societal support and disabilities. Development work within the Inquiry Service is ongoing, and we encourage collaboration with colleagues to contribute to teamwork and ideas for future direction. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and experience in contact with patients and relatives. Employment conditions: Permanent position, full-time. Start date by agreement. About you: We are looking for someone with several years of experience as a social worker for our position within the Inquiry Service, Habilitation and Health. You need to have high competence regarding societal support and disabilities, as well as experience working with our target groups. The work requires a professional demeanor and high service ability, and you need to be attentive and flexible in your interactions with patients. As you will be meeting/talking with individuals with reduced cognitive and communicative abilities, you need to have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. We want you to be structured and have a good ability to plan and prioritize your work. You should also be proactive and meticulous. To thrive with us, good collaboration skills are essential. Experience working in various systems (e.g., electronic health records) is an advantage. For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County healthcare area: - A background check will be conducted prior to employment decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during hiring. - Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment. - In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required.
