About me:
I am a nearly 18-year-old guy living with my mom and little brother in Gävle. I have personal assistance around the clock, which allows me to live like others, spend time with my family, pursue my interests, take care of myself, and of course, much more. I work at a daily activity center during the day. I enjoy going for walks, swimming, hanging out with friends, participating in various activities, and relaxing in front of the TV in my free time.
About you:
Are you caring, patient, and possess a sensitivity to understand that you are assisting me in my life? You are a woman or man with good physical fitness, have a sense of humor, and are meticulous, calm, and secure in yourself. You do not wear perfume or other strongly scented products while working with me. You do not smoke while assisting me. You speak good Swedish, as I will need you to communicate in both writing and speech. Being detail-oriented and having a sense for details are also two qualities I appreciate. Cleaning, shopping, and everything related to daily life are naturally part of your responsibilities, as well as attending to my close personal needs. Experience with stoma care, tube feeding, and autism is an advantage. Of course, you must enjoy being around children, as I sometimes want to spend time with my little brother. The position:
You will work a few fixed shifts per month, and there is also the possibility of extra shifts as needed. With me, you will work days, evenings, and nights. To be employed, you must present a valid ID, any documents that verify your right to work in Sweden, and a police record extract. This can be ordered at www.polisen.se.
