Professional Galaxy is seeking a Hardware-Near Embedded Programmer – focusing on software for our client.
About the assignment
You will be part of a team specializing in embedded programming that works with FPGAs with integrated processors. The role primarily involves development in C/C++, but may also include elements of firmware work in VHDL.
Responsibilities include:
- Implementation of control logic and various calibration functions in both software and firmware with real-time requirements.
- Documentation, testing, integration, and verification of functions.
- Working with hardware in a lab environment.
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of both new and existing functions.
- You will work in a dynamic and agile team where curiosity, initiative, and collaboration are highly valued. The team is collectively responsible for deliveries and meeting set deadlines.
Requirements for the role
- At least 3 years of experience in hardware-near embedded programming.
- Strong knowledge of C++ and C.
- Understanding of how FPGAs or equivalent work and the design requirements they impose.
- Experience with VHDL.
Meritorious
- Basic knowledge of Python and/or Matlab.
- Experience working in agile teams.
- Curiosity and initiative.
