About this role
Helping people achieve better health is one of the most important missions one can have. At Södra Älvsborg Hospital (SÄS), we are 3,700 employees with 120 different professions who contribute to this every day. What role do you want to play?
Regardless of your role, we can offer you a meaningful, secure, and developing job where you make a difference for others. Our employees often say that SÄS is a "just right-sized hospital" – large enough to allow for development and career advancement, yet small enough to foster a sense of community across different areas of operation. We have a forward-thinking spirit, and there are always exciting initiatives and research underway to improve care for our patients and meet future challenges in healthcare.

About Us
You now have the opportunity to apply for a position as a Healthcare and Social Care Curator at the Personality Disorders Psychiatric Clinic, a well-functioning clinic with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
This is a clinic where we put the patient at the center, and where you as an employee will not feel alone. We do our best to support each other and know that success and quality are things we create together.
The Personality Disorders Psychiatric Clinic is a specialized unit for personality disorders. We also share responsibility for OCD patients.
Our catchment area includes Borås, Bollebygd, Tranemo, Svenljunga, Ulricehamn, Herrljunga, and Vårgårda. The clinic is located in Borås. We aim to be a regional and national leader in the development of specialized care and treatment for these target groups. Currently, we have a DBT team (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), an MBT team (Mentalization-Based Therapy), and a Psychosocial Care Team, where you as a healthcare and social care curator will be included.
About Our Open Position
The Psychosocial Care Team primarily works with stabilizing and coordinating interventions. This can be achieved in various ways, through individual contacts or through collaboration with other stakeholders such as municipalities, the Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency, etc. For this reason, the Psychosocial Care Team consists of nurses, social workers, and mental health assistants. Staff are offered opportunities for supervision and further education.
You will be the contact person for individual patients and have regular one-on-one conversations focused on supporting them based on jointly set goals, and possibly accompany the patient to various meetings. You will collaborate with colleagues in our unit and the psychiatric outpatient clinics within the psychiatric care area at SÄS, with the adult psychiatric inpatient care, and other actors. Home visits may occur, so it is desirable that you have a driver's license.
Working hours are scheduled during the daytime, Monday to Friday.
Your Profile
We are primarily looking for a licensed healthcare and social care curator who has an interest in the clinic's target group. Are you a social worker but not a licensed healthcare and social care curator and find this work exciting? Do not hesitate to apply anyway, as the clinic has good opportunities for training and further education. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, responsibility, and good collaboration skills. In the selection process, we consider diversity and gender equality.
Other Information
We prioritize everyone's safety and require a criminal record check for all candidates offered employment with us.
Please attach your license/educational certificate with your application.
We process applications continuously and may invite candidates for interviews during the application period. We look forward to receiving your application!
