Hello!
My name is Emma, and I started working at Mora Municipality as a care assistant in home care in 2002 (my, how time flies!).
It was so much fun that I decided to further my education and became a certified nursing assistant in 2006. After six years as a nursing assistant, I transitioned to an administrative role as a planner for home care, and since 2018, I have been working as a unit manager. This is what I love most! I am passionate about our elderly, my staff, and the work environment. It is incredibly important to me that we all work as a team—so that our citizens receive the best quality of care and so that we all enjoy our work! I am proud to work at Mora Municipality.
I now need to recruit a nursing assistant for my Central team. As you can understand from the name, we provide home care in central Mora. For our clients, we either walk or bike—it's up to you. 🚲 Imagine the feeling of being outdoors every day, helping people who need your support, hanging out with colleagues who have a great sense of humor, and laughing until your stomach hurts—all while getting paid! Not too shabby, and honestly, one of the most enjoyable and rewarding jobs you can have. I can vouch for that.
We also collaborate a lot with other home care groups to ensure that we always have the right expertise in place. If you have a valid driver's license (Category B) in case you need to step in, I see that as a big plus, but it is not a requirement. Previous experience working with people is advantageous, but if you are newly qualified, I would be thrilled if you wanted to start your nursing assistant journey with us. We will teach you everything we know!
