Sustainability Coordinator RBc

We are looking for a Sustainability Coordinator RBc for an authority within Traffic. This is a multi-year consultancy assignment. The work location is Stockholm. The position is full-time. The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which requires a high degree of flexibility and teamwork. **The Assignment** The role entails coordinating and providing expertise in sustainability within the project organization. The assignment includes directing, coordinating, and monitoring sustainability issues to ensure that the project is executed in accordance with applicable legislation, internal goals, and guidelines. The work is carried out in close collaboration with project management, design, technical support, and external stakeholders. The role ensures a systematic, uniform, and effective sustainability effort where environmental, social, and economic aspects are integrated at all stages of the project. **Responsibilities** - Monitor legislation, authority, and stakeholder requirements, and be responsible for establishing, developing, verifying, and following up on sustainability requirements according to guidelines for environmental, energy, and social sustainability. - Inform and update project team members and stakeholders about goals, requirements, and conditions, and adapt and implement programs, processes, goals, plans, and routines for systematic sustainability work. - Ensure that sustainability analyses are conducted according to applicable guidelines and are based on a holistic view (environment, climate, energy, resource management, and social aspects), and that sustainability aspects are integrated into design, investigations, and solutions. - Support the management of authority contacts and participate in formal processes, while assisting project management, design leaders, coordinators, technical support, and design assignments in integrating sustainability goals at all stages. - Support procurement by clarifying and following up on sustainability requirements during the contract period and, if necessary, coordinate collaboration forums with municipalities, authorities, and other projects. - Review documents and investigations and ensure the quality of developed solutions, including ensuring compliance with requirements and support for the project’s goals. - Monitor and report risks related to requirements, technical choices, and system solutions, and suggest optimizations. - Prepare reports, investigations, presentation materials, and decision-making documents in collaboration with technical support, such as installation. **Requirements (Mandatory)** - Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. - Experience in strategic sustainability coordination in large infrastructure projects: At least 10 years of experience in managing and coordinating work on environmental and sustainability issues in large infrastructure or urban development projects. The experience must include at least 4 infrastructure projects with project budgets exceeding 500 million SEK each and encompass strategic sustainability coordination, development, and implementation of strategies, processes, routines, and plans for sustainability work. - Experience from planning and investigation phases: At least 5 years of experience working with sustainability issues in the planning phase, including road or railway planning processes, in at least 2 infrastructure projects with project budgets exceeding 500 million SEK each. - Experience from implementation phases: At least 10 years of experience working with sustainability issues in detailed design or construction phases in at least 3 infrastructure projects with project budgets exceeding 500 million SEK each, where sustainability issues have been integrated into monitoring and reporting. - EIA competence: At least 10 years of experience working with environmental impact assessments (EIA) as an EIA coordinator or client in at least 3 infrastructure projects (project budget at least 500 million SEK each). - Experience with environmental-related permits, processes, and exemptions: At least 5 years of experience working with environmental-related permits, notifications, and exemptions in at least 2 infrastructure projects (project budget at least 500 million SEK each). - Public administration: You must have worked for at least 3 years in a client role within public administration concerning environmental and sustainability issues in public transport and/or infrastructure. **Meritorious** - Climate impact and resource efficiency: At least 5 years of experience working with climate calculations, life cycle assessments (LCA), or measures to reduce climate impact in at least 1 infrastructure project (project budget at least 500 million SEK). - Experience in social sustainability: You have worked with social sustainability in at least 2 projects. **Personal Qualities** - Strong communication skills. - Good ability to collaborate, build teams, and establish and maintain relationships. - Responsible and keeps agreements. - Ability to handle various types of tasks simultaneously and prioritize among them. - Self-driven, able to make decisions based on mandate, and good at leading oneself and others. - Systematic and structured with the ability to create conditions for effective working methods. - Solution-oriented and approaches problems with an open attitude, inviting dialogue and collaboration. **About Us** Centio's overarching goal is to be a consultancy that offers smart and sustainable solutions that positively develop society.
