About the Position
At NTI Gymnasiet Västerås, we are seeking a qualified Swedish teacher for a temporary position of 60-100%, depending on the subject combination, primarily during the spring term, with good prospects for continued employment in the autumn term of 2026.
The role involves teaching primarily Swedish at the aesthetic program and the electrical and energy program for students who have chosen the university preparatory track, as well as mentoring for a class of technical students. It is an advantage if you are also trained or qualified in design subjects and English.
We want you to be an engaged and skilled teacher capable of building strong relationships with both students and parents. You possess good subject knowledge, strong pedagogical skills, and a genuine interest in fostering curiosity and a desire to learn. You can adapt your teaching to meet the diverse needs of students and create a safe and motivating learning environment where everyone has the opportunity to develop.

NTI Gymnasiet Västerås
The school has been located in the same premises, centrally in Västerås above the art museum, since 2003. The facilities are modern and recently renovated. We offer three high school programs: the technology program, the aesthetic program, and the electrical and energy program. Additionally, we train TE4 High School Engineers who undertake a specialized technical fourth year focusing on software design.
The school is a certified Teknikcollege, which serves as a quality mark for education and enables many exciting collaborations with industry.

Other Information
This position is a fixed-term contract until June 30, 2026, or continued employment until January 4, 2027, full-time or part-time of 60-100%, depending on the subject combination. We always apply a probationary period, and a certificate from the police's criminal records will be required upon employment.
