For over 20 years, Gryning has offered residential care and open care for children, youth, and families, emergency and foster homes, addiction care, supported apartments, interventions against honor-related violence and oppression, and LSS housing. We provide counseling and training and assist with placements. Gryning is owned by municipalities in Västra Götaland via four municipal associations. Gryning's Residential Care Sunnerö opened in Alingsås in November 2022. The facility serves single-placed children aged 8 to 11 who need care, treatment, and supplementary assessments. We operate 24/7. We are now seeking hourly staff. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES What does the position entail? Depending on your educational background and previous experience, different roles may be relevant. Common to all roles is that you will support our children in their daily routines, create safety and stability, and work closely with your colleagues. Our work is commissioned by social services and in close collaboration with the network surrounding our clients. We operate 24/7, which means you will work on a schedule with irregular working hours. QUALIFICATIONS Who are you? We are seeking candidates with at least a two-year post-secondary education, or equivalent, focused on social work, social pedagogy, or behavioral science. Previous experience working with the target group is preferred. You are a role model with the ability to create credible and stable relationships. You will be part of the structure that clarifies and contains the children's challenges and have the ability to create security and predictability. As the job involves travel, a driver's license is required.
