Owned by municipalities – driven by commitment! For over 20 years, Gryning has offered residential care and outpatient services for children, youth, and families, emergency and foster homes, addiction treatment, supported housing, interventions against honor-related violence and oppression, as well as LSS housing. We provide counseling and training and assist with placements. Gryning is owned by the municipalities in Västra Götaland through four municipal associations.
Family Center Fyrbodal welcomes families with children, unaccompanied children aged 0-12 years, and expectant mothers. We conduct assessments, treatment assignments, and mapping based on needs and wishes. Our goals are to provide parents with alternative relationship patterns and to give children care, structure, and security that are fundamental to their future development.
Family Center Fyrbodal is currently in an expansion phase and is now increasing its operations to meet the demand for placements. Therefore, we are seeking a treatment officer focused on unaccompanied children for a full-time position with a permanent contract during daytime hours. Start date is to be agreed upon, and a probationary period may apply.
JOB DESCRIPTION
What does the position entail?
Working as a treatment officer means having a key role in the organization with overall responsibility for qualified assessment and treatment work, documentation, and leading and distributing daily tasks. You will participate in method development and provide methodological supervision to treatment staff. If necessary, you will engage in conversations with clients and maintain contact with commissioners and other important individuals in the children's/families' networks.
QUALIFICATIONS
Who are you?
You have a relevant academic degree, such as a social worker, social educator, or equivalent. You should have several years of experience in social work. Experience in assessment and treatment work within our target group, as well as relevant further education, is advantageous.
To succeed and thrive in the role of treatment officer, you need to have good collaboration skills, be stress-resistant, independent, and structured, and possess strong reflective and analytical abilities. A driver's license is required as travel is part of the job.
