Transport Group Leader

**Job Responsibilities** We are currently seeking a new team leader for the collection area in Gothenburg/Bönekulla. The department's mission is to collect recyclable materials from multi-family houses and businesses using rear-loading garbage trucks. The operations are based in Bönekulla in Säve, but the collection takes place throughout the municipality of Gothenburg. As a team leader, your role is to drive and plan the operations for our evening shift, which includes staffing, planning vehicle maintenance/repairs, vacation planning, route planning, problem-solving, key management, and more. You will also contribute to long-term personnel planning and ensure that the unit meets its goals and key performance indicators. Together with your fellow team leaders and the operations manager, you will support the other drivers in the unit and introduce new employees. You will also liaise with traffic management and Renovas workshop to ensure optimal planning and a logistically and commercially efficient production. If necessary, you will also participate in daily operations. You will have some administrative tasks, such as managing deviations and customer complaints, as well as approving time reporting and supplier invoices. You will be an important player in the organization's improvement work, DFA (Renova's Lean-oriented working method). You are also expected to be active in workplace safety issues, such as inspecting collection points, conducting risk and consequence analyses, etc. **Qualifications** You possess a C driver's license and a valid YKB (Professional Driver Certificate); previous experience as an environmental worker/cleaning worker is advantageous. To fit this role, you need to be self-driven and take personal responsibility for the commitments the unit has to fulfill. You are a creative problem solver who seeks new solutions. It is desirable that you have experience handling administrative tasks, such as time reporting and invoice management. You will work in several different IT systems, so it is important that you have basic knowledge of Office programs (Excel, Outlook, and Word) and preferably experience with a transport planning system. A probationary period will apply. **Conditions** You will be responsible for our evening shift, and the working hours are 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
