About the Organization
The operations are run under contract from Karlstad Municipality, and we will take over the operations from another provider on March 1, 2026. All operations fall under LSS (the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). The facilities are somewhat spread out in Karlstad, but two of them are relatively close to each other. Most of the teams have worked together for a long time, and these are well-functioning operations.
About the Role
As a group leader, you will work both in the operations and in an administrative capacity. This means you will be a role model for your employees, and through your strong commitment, you will create a positive work environment in the group every day. You will enable your team to maintain good relationships with the clients and their families by being present and supportive, answering questions, leading, providing feedback, and affirming your employees in their daily work. You will have personnel and planning responsibilities for your team and will be involved in developing and quality-assuring the operations in accordance with Nytida's educational framework. As a Group Leader, you will report to the Operations Manager. You are warmly welcome to apply if you are currently working in the operations. Your Experience and Knowledge
You have post-secondary or higher education in health and social care, as well as experience with the target group. You speak and write fluent Swedish. It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience in various forms of cognitive support, low-arousal responses, and experience in leadership.
You have a clear leadership personality and enjoy helping individuals in your group grow and develop in their professional roles. As a person, you are independent, unpretentious, and cooperative. You have the desire and ability to manage and follow up on operations based on the company's goals and financial frameworks. You are proactive and responsive to the needs of the clients and have a natural respect for other people.
