About the Position As a Group Leader, you will lead and distribute daily work. In this role, you will support the organization's staff with questions related to their assignments and are expected to participate in work as needed. You will collaborate with external partners and internally with other social services departments, and are expected to be a good ambassador for the organization. As a Group Leader in Support and Prevention, you will lead a team of counselors. The role also involves working closely with other group leaders in the unit. Together with the unit manager, you will form the management team and contribute to the development of activities. We are preparing to adapt to a new social services law that will impact organization, processes, and collaboration structures. As a Group Leader, you will need the ability to lead through this change together with the unit manager and other group leaders! Example Responsibilities: • Lead and distribute daily work • Provide support, guidance, and consultation to the work group • Initiate and participate in meetings regarding the organization's mission, both internally and externally • Develop the organization together with the management group • Collaborate with social services and other internal and external actors Qualifications As a person, you are confident and stable, with a natural ability to lead and motivate others to achieve common goals. You are expected to see the bigger picture, understand your role, and make well-grounded decisions. It is crucial that you work well with others, communicate clearly and sensitively, and easily create trust-based alliances. You should also be adaptable to changing circumstances and see opportunities in changes. Requirements: • Social work degree (210 credits) or equivalent higher education degree • Knowledge and experience in social work • Manual transmission driver's license (B-license) Preferred: • Experience in leadership positions • Experience working with dependency issues • Experience working with children and youth • Experience with parental support • Experience with crime prevention work Position Details: • Type: Permanent employment • Scope: 100% • Start Date: By agreement • Positions Available: 1 Additional Information: As the position involves working with children, a background check will be conducted.
