Group Leader for the Social Emergency Service

About the position At the Social Emergency Service, we handle all types of cases related to social services. Currently, there are 7 social workers at the Social Emergency Service whose main task is to manage urgent cases according to SoL, LVU, and LVM, outside of office hours and without supervision. The Social Emergency Service also serves as a county emergency service, providing social emergency activities for urgent cases to ten municipalities in Örebro County. As a group leader with us, you will work closely with the unit manager to develop and advance the operations. You will play an important role in collaboration with other internal units as well as external partners. The role of group leader will also involve operational work, which means working hours during the day, evening, night, and weekends according to a schedule. Examples of job responsibilities: • Lead internal meetings • Provide support and assist staff with work-related issues • Create structure for the work to be performed in the organization • Develop the operations together with other members of the management team and at the request of the unit manager • Collaborate internally and externally • Handle cases and make decisions according to delegation About the workplace Within the authority operations of the Social Services Department's Individual and Family Care, there are several areas involving both authority exercise and interventions. This includes foster homes, family law, reception, and social emergency services. There are also investigation units for all age groups: children, youth, and adults. Qualifications In the position of group leader with us, you are calm, stable, and self-aware. You find it easy to collaborate with others and can relate to them in a responsive manner. As a group leader, you are skilled at coordinating groups and fostering engagement and participation. Furthermore, you are flexible and independent in your working style and can easily adapt to changing circumstances. You lead and motivate others to achieve common goals. Collaboration with internal and external parties is an important part of the work. You have a command of the Swedish language that allows you to communicate with colleagues and clients as well as document in writing what the organization requires. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements: • Degree in social work (210 credits) • Documented experience in authority exercise within Individual and Family Care • B driver's license for manual transmission Meritorious: • Experience in leadership • Experience in development work • Experience in authority exercise within reception services and social emergency services • Experience working with MI (Motivational Interviewing) • Experience working with LifeCare • Experience in case management according to LVU, SoL, and LVM Scope and start date Employment type: Permanent position Employment rate: 100% Start date: As agreed Number of positions: 1 Additional information Capacity and personality tests may be used as part of the selection process.
