The Public Property Management Unit is part of the City Planning Office, and we manage the entire municipal portfolio of operational and commercial premises, and are responsible for all operational agreements. We ensure our properties are properly maintained and cared for.
We manage approximately 1.1 million square meters, and our property managers work on a business-based approach. Operations are divided between internal technicians and external operational agreements, with a distribution of roughly 50/50.
The unit consists of 19 committed colleagues who are property managers, administrators, and team leaders. We place great emphasis on delivering good results while having fun together.

Your Responsibilities
As a team leader, you have a central and varied role responsible for supporting our property managers to succeed in their assignments.
You will provide support for ongoing matters and questions related to customer contacts, regulatory requirements, and especially the development and supplementation of maintenance plans. You will work through regular check-ins and work meetings with property managers to collectively create high quality.
In your role, you are responsible for creating a common standard for maintenance planning, leading work towards a uniform level.
You will manage the comprehensive planning for planned maintenance, reinvestments, and major interventions, ensuring these are prioritized based on operational needs and assignments.
Your work will be guided by our strategic documents that provide direction and structure, while giving you space to help shape the assignment.
Additionally, you will follow up on planned maintenance orders, handle invoices, and contribute to process follow-up and development.
You will closely collaborate with various parts of the organization, including the project and operational agreements department for public properties, procurement, finance, rental administration, and external operational providers.
You will also participate in various process forums, representing property managers and contributing to developing work methods, routines, and common standards.
Who are you?
We are seeking someone with relevant post-secondary education. To succeed in the role, we want someone with several years of experience in property management and/or several years of project/construction management experience.
You should have knowledge of maintenance planning, and we particularly welcome experience with leadership and coordination responsibilities.
We view knowledge of planning and building legislation and rental law positively.
As a person, you are self-driven with a strong ability to organize, plan, and prioritize to drive projects and achieve established goals.
You focus on the overall work, and your curiosity and ideas contribute to improvement and development.
You work systematically and efficiently with resources, focusing on both quality and results. You are attentive, clear, and adapt your communication style to those you interact with.
