The Social Services Department is responsible for individual and family care, elderly care, and care for people with disabilities. We work proactively with support, interventions, and authority exercises for children, youth, families, adults, the elderly, and people with disabilities.

About the Position
The Adult Section is part of the Individual and Family Care/Social Services Department. The section includes the Reception Unit, Social Psychiatry Unit, Unit for Dropouts, Dependency, and Domestic Violence, as well as service-providing units.
The authority units within the section are co-located, which creates good conditions for a holistic view. The Social Services in Huddinge Municipality will work to ensure that the individual experiences coordinated support. Interventions and services will be characterized by a holistic view of the individual, and coordination with other actors will be ensured.
Reception Unit
The Reception Unit is a work group with broad and extensive experience in social services, consisting of five social workers, one outreach worker, group leader, and unit manager.
The unit also has an ongoing project with 2 social workers in a case manager function, for which we have been granted UPH funds and which hopefully will continue through 2026.
We are located in premises in Huddinge center, which is easily accessible by public transportation.
The Reception Unit's primary tasks are to offer Huddinge residents a single entry point to the section within the framework of preliminary assessments. Individuals can contact the Reception Unit to apply for support related to dependency issues, mental disability, and/or domestic violence, or to make a report if they are concerned about someone. The Reception Unit is responsible for receiving, processing, and assessing new reports and applications, with a significant part of the work also being to establish municipal affiliation. We have high accessibility and are developing various digital solutions to facilitate contact with our citizens and collaboration partners.
Humor and humility are also important elements in our work group, and you will contribute to a good social climate together with your colleagues.
The work involves a significant amount of collaboration both internally and externally, and the role involves leading and distributing work and guiding employees in daily tasks. You will provide operational management and have close cooperation with the unit manager. You should easily communicate and motivate the assessments made in individual cases. You plan and drive your work independently and ask for help when needed. You must be able to shift focus on short notice and adjust your planning, as such situations may arise. An important part of your work is maintaining high accessibility towards social workers. You establish and maintain quality in both documentation and the processes social workers use in client contact, so it is crucial that you have the ability to take overall responsibility for how client contacts and processes are handled, requiring you to be responsible and good at structuring your work.

Who Are You?
Qualification Requirements:
• Social Work degree
• At least 3 years of experience in authority exercise within adult social services
• Good knowledge of Social Services Act and LVM legislation
• Good documentation skills and ability to express yourself well verbally and in writing
• Good knowledge and experience of handling at least two of the unit's target groups
Meriting
• Experience with leadership functions and completed some form of leadership training
• Experience of close collaboration with other instances, both internally and externally
