We are looking for two group leaders. One position is split 50% at Måsta Äng and 50% at Spångagården, while the other position is a full-time role at Måsta Äng.
Måsta Äng care and nursing home is located in Slagsta, just outside the city of Eskilstuna, close to nature and residential areas. It has 88 apartments divided into eight departments, with approximately half of the apartments adapted for individuals with dementia.
Måsta Äng is an academic care and nursing home, meaning we collaborate with Mälardalen University (MDU) on research and studies aimed at promoting quality of life and well-being for the elderly and individuals with dementia.
At Spångagården in Torshälla, there are a total of 84 apartments, of which 30 are for elderly individuals and 54 are for those with dementia.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The shared position at Måsta Äng and Spångagården involves schedule planning, absence management, and planning of services. You will also be responsible for overseeing the competencies of regular staff and substitutes, as well as tasks related to work clothing, statistical data, and material orders.
In the position solely at Måsta Äng, you will assist the unit manager in leading daily operations, supporting and motivating employees, and working on group development.
Regardless of the position, you will work closely with group leader colleagues at both facilities and need to be flexible. Together with the unit manager, you will also participate in development and change initiatives, as well as long-term planning for quality and safety.
Both roles involve daily contact with employees, clients, relatives, and other partners. The work can change rapidly, requiring the ability to prioritize and find solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have completed and approved upper secondary education. It is advantageous if you have relevant experience working in care and nursing. You are accustomed to using IT as a tool, preferably in documentation, planning, and scheduling systems. We would like you to have a good understanding of the financial perspective in scheduling and service planning. Experience in a supervisory role or completion of leadership training is a plus.
You easily build good relationships, both with clients and relatives, as well as within the workgroup. Courage and confidence characterize your work style, and you enjoy leading others. You are development-oriented and driven, while also being structured and able to handle variations in work pace. Responsibility and team spirit are clear strengths of yours, and you are there for your colleagues when challenges arise.
You see the bigger picture and can make decisions when necessary. As the unit manager's support, you ensure that decisions are implemented in the operations.
