About this role

Do you want to help lead the development of our dementia care facilities? We are currently seeking two dedicated group leaders for Eskilshem and Tunagården! One position is a full-time role at Eskilshem, while the other is a shared assignment between the dementia care facilities at Eskilshem and Tunagården. Eskilshem’s dementia care facility is a workplace where care and community are at the forefront! We actively work with team collaboration, utilizing the competencies of all professions. At Eskilshem, we operate in a calm and picturesque environment, close to the city’s amenities and transportation. With our six units and 70 apartments, we create a safe and homely daily life for our residents. Here, you have the opportunity to make a difference every day, as we are a unit where development progresses rapidly to meet today’s and tomorrow’s needs. Tunagården is located in the south, approximately 1.5 kilometers from the center of Eskilstuna, near a residential area, a sports facility, and the Vilsta Nature Reserve. At Tunagården, we are close to nature, and the charming decor creates a cozy atmosphere. The facility consists of 12 units, ten of which are residences for individuals with dementia who need our support in their daily lives. Tunagården is a large house where we work closely together. Collaboration between the units is a natural part of our daily routine, and we help and support each other when needs arise to create a safe environment for our residents. Does this sound like something for you? We look forward to welcoming you to our team! JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a group leader, you will lead and distribute the daily work within the team. You will support and motivate your colleagues, maintain contact with users, relatives, and partners, and serve as an important link between the staff and the unit manager. The work is varied and requires flexibility, as planning can change quickly. You will be responsible for scheduling, managing absences, and planning interventions, ensuring that daily operations run smoothly even when challenges arise. Together with the unit manager, you will participate in the long-term development work of the unit and contribute to creating quality, safety, and job satisfaction. You will receive guidance and goals from the unit manager, which you are then expected to lead towards. We are looking for someone who is a present and attentive leader with the ability to create structure in daily life for both our users and staff. With us, you will have a meaningful and varied job where you truly make a difference every day by managing daily operations. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for candidates who have completed secondary education. You have several years of experience working in care and support services and are well-acquainted with the responsibilities and professional knowledge required in the role of care staff. You have previously worked in a supervisory role, preferably as a group leader, where you have led and distributed work and managed planning and staffing. Experience in scheduling and intervention planning is a requirement, as is a good understanding of the financial perspective of these tasks. You have experience and the ability to handle conflicts that arise and possess strong collaboration skills. You use IT as a natural tool in your work and have good familiarity with documentation, planning, and scheduling systems. Your digital competence enables you to quickly familiarize yourself with new systems and contribute to effective working methods. You have good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, as the job involves a lot of verbal and written communication. It is an advantage if you have completed leadership training and have experience in leading and developing employees. Experience in dementia care is considered a positive asset. You are structured, responsible, and have a positive, solution-focused attitude. You utilize your experience and leadership to create a safe and functional daily life for both users and colleagues. You are flexible, service-oriented, and attentive, with the ability to engage and coach employees through clear leadership. As the unit manager's extended arm, you ensure that decisions are implemented in the operations. Being meticulous, analytical, and having the ability to see the bigger picture is important in this role. OTHER Do you want to help lead the way?
