About this role

Are you looking for an opportunity to develop your leadership skills alongside a competent and development-oriented work group in a stable organization? Then this position is for you! The Social Services Office in Sollentuna is a social services department at the forefront of development and innovation. We work to develop a knowledge-based social service where follow-up and quality issues are in focus. Environmental monitoring, collaboration, user participation, and development are prioritized areas. The administration is divided into four departments: the Adult Department, the Children and Youth Department, the Support and Development Department, and the Finance and Administration Department. The Social Services Office's Adult Department has seven units, with the Addiction Reception being one of the service units. Workplace At this unit, the unit manager, group leader, six therapists, four treatment assistants, and two coordinators work closely with medical personnel from the Addiction Center and Maria Youth. We target children, youth, and adults who have problems with alcohol, drugs, gambling, and/or who have developed or are at risk of developing a criminal lifestyle. We offer support and treatment with or without needs assessment, as well as family support for those with a close relative with the above-described issues. We offer methods included in national guidelines for care and support for substance abuse, where Mini-Maria has a special focus on Functional Family Therapy (FFT). For the target group with a criminal lifestyle, we offer treatment based on forensic CBT. Our two coordinators have been offering social intervention groups (SIG) for both children/youth and adults since 2025, and coordinate work with Trefas. Trefas is an enhanced collaboration between police, social services, and criminal justice to counteract fatal violence in criminal environments, and SIG is a collaborative approach for youth and adults who commit crimes, are at risk of developing or have developed a criminal lifestyle, and/or are present in criminal environments where they risk being involved or are already involved in violent extremism.
