About the Role
As a team member, you represent Hornbach and are a role model in terms of commitment, drive, and customer service. We are now seeking a store sales associate for our iron and tools department.
As the group leader for the iron and tools department, you will daily lead and distribute work within your team. You will be a role model for the group in actively engaging with customers, with sales and professional advice as the primary focus. The group leader role also involves selling and advising on iron and tools. You will be responsible for the standard management of the department, including incoming goods and product display, as well as renovations and modifications.
Your primary tasks will primarily consist of sales and customer consultation. Thanks to your product knowledge and sales skills, you will ensure customers can complete their projects.
Example Work Tasks
* Active sales of product assortment in iron, tools, and electrical departments
* Opportunities to be inspired, learn from colleagues, and exchange comprehensive knowledge and experience in the product area
* Responsible for incoming goods and product display, as well as department renovations and modifications
* Analyze department product presentation
* Assist other departments when needed
Your Profile
* High school education or equivalent, with retail experience
* Experience in iron and tools is required
* Passionate about offering customers the best possible service
* Able to realize customer projects through professional advice on our wide product range
* Personally stress-resistant, flexible, and solution-oriented
* Forklift certification (A1-A4 & B1-B4) is advantageous

Working Hours/Duration: Permanent. Full-time 38.25 hours/week. Scheduled day, evening, and every other weekend shifts
Salary: Salary according to collective agreement
