Our large organization offers many different operations and developmental pathways. About Villa Ryd Villa Ryd – Vardaga Villa Ryd is a residence for individuals with cognitive impairments. There are 21 residents living at Villa Ryd, located on the outskirts of the Ryd district in Linköping. The residence has a beautiful garden close to the forest and pleasant walking paths. At Villa Ryd, we work with assigned contact persons and a person-centered approach, focusing on the individual’s needs. We serve home-cooked meals and engage in meaningful activities that fill our residents’ days. Our team at Villa Ryd includes nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, team leaders, specialist care assistants, operational managers, activity coordinators, and care staff who work collaboratively for the benefit of the residents. We use welfare technology to enhance safety, such as alarm systems and digital medicine cabinets. About the Role The team leader role is part of Vardaga's successful concept for close leadership. You will be a "playing coach," combining practical work with administrative tasks. Your primary responsibility is to coach and engage in daily care work alongside your team. You serve as a role model for your colleagues. By being engaged, present, answering inquiries, providing feedback, and acknowledging your employees, you create a positive work environment within the group. Your working hours will include daytime, weekends, and evenings. In this role, you will: • Have personnel and planning responsibilities for your team. • Be involved in developing and ensuring the quality of the operations in accordance with Vardaga's concept. • Collaborate, exchange ideas, and share experiences with your fellow team leaders. • Report to the operational manager and have the opportunity to influence through your participation in the local management group. Your Experience and Knowledge We are looking for applicants who are: • Clear and effective in promoting participation. • Coaching and capable of motivating and engaging our employees. • Skilled at giving and receiving feedback. • Unpretentious and a quick learner. • Independent and collaborative. • Business-minded, with the ability to lead and monitor operations based on quality targets and financial frameworks. You must be a qualified care assistant, have good computer skills, and speak and write fluent Swedish. Experience in elder care and leadership is an advantage for this role.
