The Norrbotten Police Area is one of the police areas in the North region. The geographical area spans 14 municipalities – from Arvidsjaur in the south to Kiruna in the north.
The Norrbotten Police Area is divided into four local police areas: Luleå/Boden, Northern Lapland, Piteå/Älvdal, and Eastern Norrbotten. At the police area level, there is also an investigation section, an intervention group, and a dog unit, along with a police area office.
Within the Eastern Norrbotten local police area, there are intervention and crime prevention activities, investigation groups, as well as support and service.
We are now seeking a group leader for the investigation group.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As the group leader for the investigation activities, you will report to the local police area chief and be part of the local police area's management team, where you will collectively be responsible for ensuring that assignments are carried out and for driving the authority's change and development work. You will have particular responsibility for the section/unit/group's activities within investigation and prosecution, as well as its results. As a group leader, you represent the entire Police Authority both internally and externally and work to strengthen trust in police operations.

QUALIFICATIONS
This is an opportunity for you who have:
• At least 12 months of continuous experience working as a team leader, project manager, or similar role within the last three years
• Experience participating in change and development work
• Experience in the relevant operational area
• A relevant degree/education for the function
We consider it an asset if you also have:
• Experience leading others towards set goals and results
• Participation in management forums
• Experience in the police organization's operations
• Training in management and leadership for direct, indirect, and/or strategic levels
• Experience participating in/driving collaboration with community stakeholders outside the police organization/your own organization
