As the manager of our monitoring center, you will have the overall responsibility for leading and coaching the operator team, supporting incident management, and further developing safety procedures to meet both current and future challenges. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our critical societal assets remain protected. The role is an essential part of the department that ensures that the company's detection capabilities align with both external regulations and the company's internal ambitions. You will report directly to the head of the Asset Surveillance department and be part of their management team. The position entails personnel responsibility for up to 15 direct reports.
**Responsibilities**
- **Leadership and Team Development**: Responsible for planning, leading, coaching, and developing monitoring operators to maintain a high level of safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
- **Safety Strategy and Incident Management**: Develop and implement strategic plans for monitoring, manage serious incidents, and support operators in critical decision-making.
- **Quality Assurance and Process Improvements**: Conduct regular quality reviews of monitoring work, including camera surveillance and remote patrolling, and proactively work to improve processes and routines.
- **Collaboration and Reporting**: Communicate and cooperate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the highest safety standards. Report incidents and actions to the management team.
- **Training and Safety Culture**: Ensure that the team has the necessary training and knowledge to manage technical systems and follow best practices for a safe work environment.
**Requirements**
We are looking for you who are:
- An experienced leader in security— with documented leadership experience in surveillance, security centers, or similar environments.
- Strategic and analytical—you see the big picture and can quickly make decisions to manage urgent situations while also working long-term on development issues.
- Communicative and inspiring—you have the ability to motivate and build strong teams and are clear in your communication.
- Technically knowledgeable and results-oriented—you have a good understanding of monitoring systems, security programs, and remote patrolling, ensuring the team meets its goals.
**Qualifications**
- Several years of experience working in a security center or equivalent, ideally with leading or coordinating responsibilities.
- Experience in leading and developing teams, as well as familiarity with working in a shift-based operation.
- Ability to express yourself well in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
