About Connecting Stockholm As those responsible for Stockholm's subway system, we operate a socially critical service where safety, accessibility, and punctuality are at the center. We combine experience and innovation to create a subway system that is secure today and sustainable for the future. But our mission is about more than just transportation – it's about people, responsibility, and trust. At our company, culture is just as important as the mission. We believe in the power of collaboration, in relationships built on trust, and in leadership characterized by professionalism, heart, and commitment. We are driven by development – both of our organization and our employees. Here, you will have the opportunity to grow, influence, and help shape the future of public transportation – together with us. We are now seeking a Group Manager for Cleaning within the subway track environments. Together with the Head of Graffiti Removal, you will be responsible for ensuring delivery regarding cleaning of subway track environments for our client. The assignment also includes putting up and taking down billboard advertisements in the subway network. A cornerstone of our leadership is a coaching approach, and you will therefore work with a present leadership style where you meet your employees in their operational environment. You will have approximately 25 cleaning staff in your group working night shifts, along with colleagues such as other group managers and specialists connected to your area. Your primary tasks are: • Lead and plan your employees in cleaning subway track environments. The work requires track and safety planning. • Ensure that the department's cases and deviations are handled in a safe, efficient, and professional manner towards customers, partners, and clients. • Ensure that employees follow safety routines and processes regarding work in safety zones and that ongoing work is performed according to applicable safety routines, regulations, and with the right authorizations. • Ensure follow-up of key performance indicators, invoice management, and identify and drive cost savings and efficiencies in the supplier chain and its delivery. • Ensure good and cost-effective staffing and short- and long-term planning so that the department has necessary qualifications. • Lead, develop, and create good conditions for employees to achieve their long- and short-term goals, and through your leadership, capture and drive change work within your own group. • Develop the employee group through training. Ensure the right competencies, permits, and authorizations to perform the department's work tasks. The position is full-time and during night shifts, but to participate in meetings and training, work during daytime and occasional weekend days may occur. The work week starts night towards Monday (Sunday evening) and ends night towards Friday. You will move around the subway system between different locations, which means a B driver's license is a requirement for the position. You will report to the Head of Graffiti Removal. Qualifications: To thrive in the role of Group Manager, you are confident and communicative with a non-prestigious approach to your surroundings. You are not afraid to make decisions and collaborate well with involved parties. We are looking for someone who thrives best when working with change management. You have a strong quality focus in the work you perform and are accustomed to prioritizing your commitments. With a structured and development-oriented work approach, you drive your work tasks all the way to completion. • High school competence or equivalent work experience • Previous experience working as a manager with personnel responsibility or as a team leader • Preferably experience working in graffiti removal or cleaning services • Preferably experience working in environments requiring safety training and good understanding of safety regulations • Experience independently driving own projects • Very good Swedish language skills, and good English skills, both verbally and in writing, as a significant part of the work involves written and oral presentations • Good computer skills and comfortable using the Office package.
