**Police Area Dalarna**
Police Area Dalarna is one of three police areas in the Bergslagen region, with its headquarters in Falun. The geographical area covers 15 municipalities. Police Area Dalarna is divided into three local police areas: Borlänge, Falun, and Mora. At the police area level, there is an investigation section and a secretariat located in Falun.
**Investigation Section**
The Investigation Section in Police Area Dalarna is organized into serious crimes, surveillance and seizure operations, crimes in close relationships, fraud offenses, and investigative on-call services. The Investigation Section is responsible for qualified surveillance work and certain handling of covert coercive measures.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a group leader for BINR2. As a group leader, you will have personnel and work environment responsibilities for your group, which handles cases related to crimes in close relationships throughout the police area. The section and unit should continue to be at the forefront regarding working methods and practices, and as a group leader, you will ensure, together with employees and fellow group leaders, the continued development. Collaboration is an important part of the assignment, primarily with other group leaders in the section but also with other internal and external parties.
**The Role of Group Leader for BINR2**
As the leader of BINR2, you will report to the section chief and be part of the section's management team, where you will jointly be responsible for ensuring that assignments are carried out and for driving the authority's change and development work. You will have particular responsibility for the section's/unit's/group's operations in the area and its results. As a group leader, you represent the entire Police Authority both internally and externally and work to strengthen trust in police operations.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
This is an opportunity for you who have:
• At least 6 months of continuous experience working as a manager, team leader, or similar
• Experience participating in change and development work
• Experience in the relevant operational area, investigative work
• Experience in the operations of the police organization
• A police degree according to the Regulation (2014:1105) on training for police officers, or other post-secondary education that the employer deems relevant
We consider it an advantage if you also have:
• Continuous experience in a managerial role with personnel and work environment responsibilities
• Work experience in leading and implementing change
• Knowledge in cases involving particularly vulnerable crime victims, as assessed relevant by the employer
• Experience leading others towards set goals and results
• Participation in management forums
• Management and leadership training for direct level
• Experience participating in/driving collaboration with community actors outside the police organization/your own organization
