Group Manager, Service Department

BAE Systems Hägglunds is in an expansive phase and is now seeking a coaching and strategically oriented Group Manager for the Service Department. As Group Manager for the Service Department, you will have personnel responsibility for a team of approximately 30 employees - staff and consultants. Employees in our service department work closely with our customers and are often on assignments, both in Sweden and abroad. In this role, you will not only lead the daily operations – but also help build the future of the service function. As a group manager with us, you will play a central role in driving both skills development and quality of execution. You ensure that each individual has the right conditions to grow by identifying development needs and creating clear learning structures. Through your leadership, you build the team's competence so that the group can collectively meet future assignments. You will be part of the OPF management team and report directly to Anders Forslund, Head of Field Service. Who You Are We are seeking someone with experience as a manager or leader with broader responsibility for personnel, results, and business development. You have relevant educational background for this role. Knowledge or experience in the vehicle industry or similar technical operations is meritorious. We believe you are a leader who enjoys seeing others grow. You are accustomed to working strategically with skills provision and have a natural ability to inspire others to reach their goals. You have a capacity to create engagement – and you see skills development as the key to success.
