About this role

Group Manager Rehab Västernorrland/Jämtland Do you, like us, want to work with people and their development? Our operational area is now seeking a Group Manager Rehab who wants to make a real difference. About Samhall In Sweden, 250,000 people with disabilities lack a job to go to. That is why Samhall exists – to create meaningful jobs for those who are outside the labor market. Our vision is “A labor market where everyone is seen as an asset,” and we believe you share that conviction with us. Inclusion and development are our focus. Regardless of where you work within Samhall, our mission is present in everything we do – the belief that all people have skills and can develop is our compass. We are 24,000 employees, of which approximately 1,500 are managers and specialists, with operations across the country. Together, we work for a more inclusive labor market that makes a difference for individuals, organizations, and society. Welcome to Samhall! About the Position We are now looking for a Group Manager Rehab for Västernorrland/Jämtland. Here, you will work alongside 15 Area Managers, who are responsible for about 300 employees in Örnsköldsvik, Sollefteå, Hammarstrand, and Kramfors. You will have a clear internal network with colleagues to exchange experiences and develop common working methods together. You will work closely with the Area Managers on both prehab and rehab, and you will be an important specialist support function in the district's rehabilitation work. The role includes leading complex rehabilitation cases, matching the right interventions to the right person, and contributing to a sustainable return to work. You will collaborate closely with Försäkringskassan, occupational health services, and other relevant actors. Even though you belong to a larger management team, you, along with three other Group Managers Rehab, will be the district's expert resource in rehabilitation. The position can be based in Örnsköldsvik, Sollefteå, or Kramfors, and you will report directly to the Operations Manager. To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you have: • Experience working with rehabilitation, job adaptation, and more complex individual cases, for example from an HR perspective • Experience in documentation related to rehabilitation processes • Relevant higher education, such as in healthcare, social work, nursing, or leadership • Good digital competence and understanding of system support • A valid driver's license (B) • Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written • Leadership experience • Experience with assistive devices and adaptations for physical disabilities • Experience collaborating with authorities such as Försäkringskassan and Arbetsförmedlingen, as well as occupational health services Personal Qualities The role requires structure, collaboration, and a proactive attitude. The pace can sometimes be high, and it is important that you are willing to take initiative and act independently. A positive and solution-oriented approach is crucial – especially when you encounter people in vulnerable situations. You enjoy inspiring, motivating, and developing people, with a particular focus on employee development, work capacity, and engagement.
