About the job
The Swedish Pensions Agency is seeking a group manager for the Platform and Infrastructure unit within the IT department. This unit is responsible for the agency's technical platforms, infrastructure, operational processes, and the development of our working methods in automation and DevOps.
In this role, you will lead a group of DevOps specialists who work closely with our development teams and release trains. The group contributes expertise in CI/CD, automation, observability, infrastructure as code, and operations in a modern hybrid environment.
The group is a central support function for our agile delivery trains and drives the development of platforms and working methods. As a manager, you are responsible for the strategic direction, skills supply, and creating favorable organizational conditions.
Typical tasks include goal-setting and development conversations, salary setting, recruitment, budget and work environment responsibilities. Active participation in the unit's management team, which currently includes seven group managers along with the unit manager. The unit and group currently have staff in both Stockholm and Luleå, and travel may occur.

We are looking for someone who has:
- A relevant academic degree or equivalent competence
- A good understanding of DevOps principles, technical infrastructure, or platform development
- Several years of experience in leadership roles in an agile environment, preferably according to SAFe
- Experience in change management and continuous improvement work
- Excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written
It is advantageous if you have:
- Experience working in public sector or other regulated industries
