Hästhagenskolan is located in Floda and is easily accessible via public transportation. We focus on creating an accessible learning environment and use our local surroundings as a part of our systematic quality work, where Green Flag goals and outdoor pedagogy are naturally integrated into everyday life at school. Movement is prioritized through guided activities during breaks and movement pauses during lesson time. Mathematics and Swedish instruction are also systematically monitored through digital screenings and collaborative learning.
We operate under distributed leadership, and the work team is the core of the organization where you collectively make decisions regarding the well-being and development of the students.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities include planning, executing, and following up on teaching based on the curriculum. You will adapt the content to meet the students' needs and continuously evaluate their knowledge development. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues to enhance teaching, create a safe learning environment, and promote the students' social and academic development.
You should be able to work with students in need of special support and be a flexible colleague who prioritizes the students' learning. The responsibilities also include communicating with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders within the framework of the role. You take responsibility by following up on your students’ knowledge development through screening and formative assessment. We are looking for someone familiar with working with cooperative structures and visual support in your teaching. In the job description at Hästhagenskolan, you will follow students from grades F-3 as a primary school teacher.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a certified primary school teacher for grades F-3 or F-6/7.
We seek candidates who are qualified in Swedish and Mathematics.
We want candidates who are experienced in using cooperative strategies and visual supports in their teaching.
We are looking for someone with previous experience in mentorship and as a class teacher.
We seek candidates who are knowledgeable or have good knowledge of neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF).
We are looking for someone with strong skills in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
Meritorious:
Has strong knowledge of and practical application of formative assessment and experience in communicating in digital learning environments.
Has experience leading collaborative learning in work teams or at the operational level.
Is qualified in any practical-aesthetic subject.
